The Kenworth T908 has become part of Australia’s landscape, renowned for its long-bonneted, traditional good looks and its even tougher performance. Whether in single trailer or multi-trailer road train configuration, on highway or the roughest outback track, the T908 has been designed and built in Australia to deliver unmatched performance in the harshest possible conditions. Drake Collectibles very first model release was the Kenworth T908. This model was release in March 2010. This release consisted of 1000 truck only models. Released in four popular colours of the Kenworth Ice White, Gunmetal, Vintage Burgundy and Mercury Silver. These models rapidly sold out which prompted a second release in August 2011. This release also contained 5 new models. Included in the second release were the Chrome Yellow and the company liveries of Doolan, McAleese, NQ Group and Lampson. These new company livery models have now become a very sort after collector’s piece, and you will have to pay a premium price to add them to your collection. In May 2019, Drake Collectibles released a special 10-year anniversary truck at the Brisbane Truck Show. This truck was produced to replicate the original truck used to design the very first Drake Collectible diecast truck model.
